LOL no doubt what was with all the stats, I guess ET is for noobs and clueless people who love to stay up to date on hollywood? I could barely stand watching it, then trek came on, and I turned it off as soon as the trek segment was done. I should have just passed and waited till it was on the web.

A fraction of behind the scenes footage, and some quick new scenes, one was Kirk in the bar, you get some better views of the alien sitting beside him. The other was Nero on the Narada holding is staff and throwing it at someone. It was nothing big if you missed it.

Heads up if anybody gets Canadian channels, the Space channel will show a special IN DEPTH star trek feature with regards to footage and behind the scenes. Should be MUCH better than the Entertainment Tonight 5 second tease. It will be on Friday May 1st 10:00PM (eastern standard time,) website for show shedule for May 1st below

The Star Trek Movie marathon also on the Canadian Space channel starts April 26th and goes right till May 7th. We all have the movies but its still fun to watch them when they are broadcasted on TV.

I remember back in the days before computers, for some reason, I especially remember not being able to wait for E.T. to come on when they were advertising a clip from Star Trek 3. Leonard Maltin gave Trek 3 a very positive review for it, I still remember at the end of the clip he called 3 "Satisfying Science Ficition". Back then, we depended on shows like that and I also remember the big "3", (Kirk Spock, McCoy) being on Today Show, Good Morning America, and The Tonight Show, pushing the movies. I remember them having the entire crew on GMA for TUC because it was the last TOS movie. For one of the movies, Joan Lunden was "beamed" from the set of GMA, to the bridge of the Enterprise, I think that was for The Voyage Home. Ah, the good old days.
