I'm looking forward to reading more.

No sir. 2285 is wrong. that's when the Enterprise-A was commishned. it had to be a time frame of 2245 or 2250. remember the orginal enterprise is launched during this time and serves 40 years of service.

Nope. It couldn't be 2285. But This movie obviously doesn't follow canon, and there's no mention of Captain April that I know of. So the Abramsprise may have launched several years later in the Abramsverse than it did in the canonverse. It's probably more line 2235 or so. Because Jim Kirk is probably around 21 or so in the bar scene with Pike. And apparently, the Abramsprise hasn't been completed yet. This should be around 2255 or so. So unless they have really messed up the timeframes, 2235 should be pretty close since Jim Kirk is just being born at the time of the Kelvin's destruction.

Yeah. I know. I was just responding to BCKF's post. And giving my opinion of the timeframe. Not disrespect to the originator of this post.

If this is all true and if nero is infact in the time of 2235, (which he is) then why did he stop with the kelvin, think of it 21 years of just being dorment before james t. kirk, he can wipe out the entire federation if he wants to.
