It sounds funny, I know. But even dead they'd make a better film than those two.

Actually, the movie I'm most desperate to see right now is a horro anthology called 'Trick 'r' Treat'.

Written and directed by Micheal Dougherty (Of X2 and Superman Returns) it's four stories unfolding together over one Halloween night, connected by one mysterious figure. It was made in 2007 - has had stunning reviews from anyone who has seen it, but it's being buried away by Warner Bros for some unknown reason.

That's what I really want to see right now!

I desperately want to see the Dark Tower films.

There. That's waaaay ahead. Some say it's all but confirmed that Abrams will be doing this. I don't know. I'll have to see Star Trek first. Put it this way: the way purists are with Star Trek here, that's how I am with Dark Tower. I know that inevitably quite a few things will have to change. The audience might not be able to handle certain things like the scene between the preacher woman and the gunslinger in the beginning. Other things like the birth of Mordred might simply be hard to film.

I was really keen on the Harry Potter series until the final book came out. I found all that wandering in the woods such a let down and didn't care for the ending at all. I guess I'm still looking forward to the movie because I enjoyed the 6th book quite a bit.

I haven't read all the posts, so sorry if someone else claimed it first, but:

Green Lantern. Filming starts in September, should be out for Dec. 2010. Big budget, big effects, described by the producers as a sort of "Iron Man" approach (great story, character driven, some humor).

I've been waiting for the emerald hero to get the amazing film he deserves for years. While Marvel has marketed their properties very well, I think, casting the net pretty wide and getting lots of characters on film, with DC it's been nothing but Superman and Batman for the longest time (apart from the uneven Flash TV show from 1990-91). It's high time for Green Lantern to save Sector 2814 from destruction by Sinestro!

It's a big, complicated multi-volume epic by Stephen King. Tried to read it once - got sidetracked and never finished it. But yes, if anyone can do it, it would be Abrams & Co.

All the big summer blockbusters: Wolverine, Terminator, Harry Potter, Night at the Museum 2, etc. I love watching big movies on the big screen. They never seem to translate as well to TV as the smaller, more character driven movies.

I really like Huge Jackman. Seems like a nice guy. Not so sure about Christian Bale.
