The first one was so moving, so generative of emotion and feelings of elation. The quotes from every important moment in human space exploration, Nimoy's familiar voice, and the fact that Star Trek was really, finally on it's way back. The other trailers had more action, cooler shots and more revealing scenes, but none of them pumped me, or raised a higher sense of expectation than that first trailer. I was destined to see this film from day one, regardless of later revelations.

The second theatrical trailer, although none of them were attached to the movies you mentioned when I saw them in the Uk.

I hope I remember right that the second trailer was the one with the epic score and the one which focused a little more on the characters.
