I like the idea that it never happened. If it had, Janeway would have been ready for them. Just like she was when "old" Kes came back to "save" young Kes and take her back home. Janeway had to remind Kes that it happened. I guess when you go through a temporal rift, it causes amnesia.

Janeway:"Mr Tuvok, what is that rift in space ahead?"

Tuvok:"Capatin, it is an amnesia counduit. If we go through it, we shall forget important things until the appropriate dramtic moment."

I don't remember it precisely, but didn't the crew of the Voyager immediately recognize that they are attacked by chroniton torpedoes or however they were called in "Year of Hell"? It's not like Kes could have told them much more but the little she knew about those torpedoes, anything else in "Before and After" was personal.
Pitty they substituted the cutie with the Borg in a catsuit.

I didn't have a problem with a "rehabilitaed Borg" joining, but who's idea was it to put her in that tight outfit and the glam look? It wouldn't have been a look 7 of 9 would have chosen for herself. It made the charter alot harder to take seriously.

Same thing with Troi, would you take a therapist who dressed like (during porfessional hours) her seriously?

Agreed. But every Trek show, and most of the films had to have "Eyecandy" in it, sadly.

Some of us regard Harry Kim and Tom Paris as the eye candy in ST VOY.

I liked the contrast between Seven's appearance and her deadpan, dry delivery.
