I have seen, entire, both the original and remake of the Fly....only because I was not allowed to leave the house that night when my Dad was watching...and since I would have to listen, even in my room, I went ahead and watched....HATED BOTH, but would say of the two, the remake was the better film...more character development, even if it did go a bit overboard with the gory bits.
