Love triangle? (Spoilers, I guess...)
I've read a lot of places talking about...
... An upcoming Kirk/Spock/Uhura love triangle. I know a lot of fans won't like that, but I think it is a good idea. What do you think?

How about wiz-kid Chekov having a crush on Nurse Chapel and Nurse Chapel, of course, has the hots for Mr. Spock?
Mmm...Nah! Nothing in established Trek to support that! Just my mind rambling on.

I doubt it's going to happen either. But that may just be me in denial because I faithfully slash only Kirk and Spock. No room for a threesome!
 Actually, I honestly don't think the love triangle will happen because the whole point of the movie is to establish the characters and get them to where their relationships resemble those that we're used to with the original TOS crew. Using Uhura to create tension between Kirk and Spock kind of seems like going backwards in that particular relationship. I obviously haven't seen the movie but I would think that when Kirk figures out that he's not getting Uhura, he would have little problem getting over her and moving on to someone else. It's not like he knows her that well before the events with Nero anyway. I just don't see him being so emotionally invested in Uhura in a romantic sense so that it would be enough to cause tension between the three of them. Kirk is smarter than that. Even a young Kirk.
