Don't mean to offend.
I agree - the Borg are utterly unusable as a villain thanks to Voyager. Unless they can be reconcieved back into something effective.

But no Khan or mirror universe stuff either, IMO. Khan was done just fine first time - and the mirror universe is best left where it is.

Personally, I'll go with the Klingons likely making a bigger appearance. Past that, I have no real wish list.

I think if the Borg were to be featured in the next film, they would be very different to their prime timeline incarnation by virtue of being hundreds of years less 'perfected'. Could be interesting, but there is that sense that they've been overdone. I'd prefer a deeply characterised villain.

Come on now, it's in the same timeline. Go watch Back to the Future 2 and you will know what a timeline is. Nothing has changed in this time line. And if it did then why in the Star Trek: Countdown Comic Book shows the Enterprise-E unchanged after Nero and Spock go back into the 23rd Century, Because nothing happened.

Why not? It has been done before, and we ended up with the best movie of the 10? I would love to see them bring something like that to the big screen. When TWOK came out, it was so exciting revisiting our old friend, Khan.

I think, and I know many of you won't agree, that it is JJ's responsibility to fix this timeline mess he has made. I feel quite sure that it can be done with taste and with excitement! Just imagine the possibilities! It has never been done, it could be done as the main plot or a subplot. I know that's just my opinion and I am in the minority here, but I would love to see that happen.

Whatever they do, I would like to see them introduce Carol Marcus, Gary Mitchell and of course Janice Rand!
