Default The Number 47

This is a fun topic, all you have to do is tell us where you saw or heard the number "47" in series ST:VOYAGER.

One of the most visible, yet hidden was in the briefing room. When the camera is on Janeway, look to the right on the wall, and the pattern on the wall makes a sideways "4 7".

That video is great! Although I dread to think how long it took somebody to compile all those '47' references - 47 MONTHS probably!
It is strange though. Why 47? There must be some reason for it. It can't possibly be a coincidence.

It's something that goes back to TNG. Ron Moore and Braga mention it on one of their commenteries either for Generations or First Contact. (Can't remember which one it was.) I think it was Moore that started it, then it became an in-house joke so every writer was given a note to put in the number 47 somewhere for every episode. (Or at least most)

It would have been funny if instead of Jerry Ryan being 7 of 9, she was 4 of 7.
