It's just my opinion, but I don't like that at all. Yuck. It's too...I don't know...bulbous and wavy looking or something. It's just wierd looking. I don't care for it. But that's just me.

However, I do love the conference room with the big windows.

That's a much better 'finished' version of the one posted earlier.

However, although I vastly prefer this design, it still (to me) doesn't look like an earlier ship than the Galaxy. To me, that design works better more as a contemporanous design alongside it, like the Nebula etc. Nowadays, with CGI they could build that in a heartbeat but it would have been an expensive physical model to produce for a one-off appearance.

However, on a basic level, it's way the hell better than the one they actually went with.

I think it looks great side on but front on it looks pretty bloated. It's dorsal is not bad but I'd move the nacelles apart a bit which would probably help it's front view a bit too.

Yeah, it's not a perfect design - I'd work on the secondary hull a bit and maybe change some stuff on the neck. But overall it's got some nice angles to it.

I say both this version and the filmed version are love/hate ships. Both have little things that I like and things that I don't.

There are a few angles of this ship that I like, but for the most part, I agree with Zim. Bulbous and wavy.
