Watchmen was a brilliant metaphor for our times. Which is funny considering it was written in 1985 and it still applies today. It's a great work of fiction. The movie might not of given the book all the justice. But it didn't do a terrible job either.

And yeah, I don't think JJ is thinking about that at all really.

6. Movie rating. IMO that one affected its box office more than anything else because it cut out the teenage crowd as well as parents wanting to take them to see it. Not to mention pre-teens or younger. However it might make up some of that on DVD sales.
