I am just hoping they don't come out like watchmen and beg fans to watch it once more to make 150 mil!

Can't say much about the international marketing, but certainly the worldwide premiere journey should be highlighting the film to several key overseas markets. I imagine their will be a push now we're in the final couple weeks.
Another problem is with Watchmen is name recognition, IMO. Everyone I knew, myself included, had no idea what the heck Watchmen even was until about three weeks out. I'm like, "Who are these superheroes and why should I care?" and I like to pride myself on at least vaguely knowing about most superheroes. No clue who these folks were or where they came from until I looked it up on Wikipedia.

3. No plodding scenes that will bore you
4. More handsome cast [And Uhura beats the watchmen chick hands down!]
5. Better marketing?

I am running out of reasons guys!
Watchmen was OK, but it's blood and gore "R" rating is what hurt it. And creeping up to 3 hours long did not help any.

Agreed.

My friend booked us all tickets really close to the screen so my neck was at a 45 degree angle for the whole thing!
