IMAX for me! Oddly enough, none of my hausfrau friends want to go with me... so it looks like I'll be flying solo for the fist viewing.

I just hope the Myrtle Beach IMAX will have it on July 4th, the only chance I'll have

I think I might be able to swing an IMAX viewing towards the end of the IMAX run. Might. The thing is, I have to convince my sister or mom to drive me because I don't drive (don't even have a license).

I will only see my first viewing on a 'regular' theater screen because I want to see the entire image as intended. I don't need a giant screen to impress me, especially if the film was not shot in that format. While I didn't make it out to see it this way, THE DARK KNIGHT would have been worthwhile to see the scenes shot in IMAX as intended.

It might be fun to see TREK in IMAX in a subsequent viewing though, just for the wow effect.

No problem, and my name came from my old guild wars name(which I sold). Which that came from a variation of a character from a Dana Carvey movie.

Do not sit too close, you might get sick or go blind

HA! I knew it. I thought it had be derived from Gammy Num Nums in "Master of Disguise".

BTW, got my IMAX ticket today! Requested May 8th off....I want it to be a relaxing Star Trek day. Not that I don't relax on my job. I have the best gig in the world. But, all I want to think about on May 8th is Star Trek.
