Think one of my favorites was the Christmas episode with the chocolates.

And another fave, the episode where Winchester takes compassion on a soldier who is shunned and derided by his fellow soldiers because he stutters. As it turns out, there was a really good reason that Winchester did, and it was heartwrenching.

Col. Potter was another one of my favorite characters. Much as I liked Col. Blake, and certainly lamented the character's demise, I really enjoyed Potter.

FanWriter45, yes a lot of the Hawkeye centric episodes were really good. I did love the one where he had to keep himself awake, amidst a Korean family.

And of course, who can forget the most heavily watched (to this day) finale : Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen?
