It was interesting how many of the characters from the movie started out in the series but eventually faded away, like Painless Waldowski, Spearchucker Jones, Ugly John and Dish...

FanWriter45, yes a lot of the Hawkeye centric episodes were really good. I did love the one where he had to keep himself awake, amidst a Korean family. And of course, who can forget the most heavily watched (to this day) finale : Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen?
