Oh, man. Man I hear ya. I would hate for them to even make a movie version that strays away from the canon set in the book. L. Frank Baum would be turning over in his grave.

Imagine a movie version of Wizard of Oz that makes changes to the canon, like Dorothy's silver slippers are now red. Let's get rid of the China County thing and the Hammerheads. Because who the f--- needs them.

Oh yeah and to top it off, when Dorothy gets back to the Kansas, it turns out it was all just a dream. Such a change in canon would destroy the history made by Baum's sequels.

And then they just start singin and stuff. What?! Come on!

Man! That movie would suck! It would be destined to fail!
