If the title of this film was only 'Trek' or maybe something like 'Enterprise' (aside from the fact a canon series went that way) it probably wouldn't bother me nearly as much as it does.

It's the new star trek. As i've been saying all along, It would never get as many views if was the TOS version. JJ Abrams and crew would lose their jobs. Sorry you want to hold on to something that is 40 years outdated.
