I don't think this one will go below 85%. The critics really like it so far. GO TREK!!!

Well only 4 or 5 reviews, expect it to drop considerably once its out as there's a lot of snooty arts house critics on that site.

Its true. Outside of those artsy only critics i think this will do really well, especially with mainstream critics like Ebert.

You might be right. Check out the 60% on the RT Coummunity Scale with 60 reviews so far. Let me underscore "snooty."

Yup! But will Rotten Tomatoes score affect anyone's personal enjoyment of the film?

Not me at least...and rarely are reviews my gauge, but they are for many people who are on the fence about seeing something. So solid reviews will help.

I sometimes go to RT to see whether I should waste my time on watching something or not, so yeah, it does influence people.
