SWEET! We don't have a Toys 'R Us. But if Toys 'R Us has them out, maybe Target and Kmart will too. If I have my way, I'll be out of at least $30 come Tuesday and I'll be coming home from work with my brand new Abramsprise.

So I don't spend too much at once, I'll couple that with a couple of action figures. Then I'll get the bridge set next time with a couple more action figures.

For some reason, I've really got my heart set on getting one of these. I think maybe it's because when the TNG movies came out, my family never had much money and I could never buy more than an action figure our two and a phaser because it was on sale.

Thirteen years after First Contact (the only TNG movie I bought merchandise for), I'm on my own and getting my own paycheck and I know that I can actually afford some of the toys if I save a bit in other areas.

I guess I'm making up for lost time and not being able to buy stuff in the past so I'm buying as much as I can get my hands on this time around. I don't normally spend money like this on non-essential items or things that aren't books but just this once, I'm going to make an exception and go all out and NOT feel guilty about it in the least.

I think Im gonna probably wait for an Art Asylum version, Playmates build quality is always very "toylike" and lacking in details, not to knock them because I have every starship they have ever made. But seeing the recent AA ships (Ent-A) I think Ima hold off on these..
The PM Phaser is absolutely atrocious. Im curious what the sound is like though can someone upload the new phaser fx!

Am I the only who thinks they look incredibly cheap and childish?

I just opened the Enterprise, and I'm surprised by the quality of it. I think I will buy another one, disassemble it, and rebuild it as a completely miniature. Looks great.

Glad to hear it's good quality. I can hardly wait to get mine. I'm really hoping it will arrive by the end of the week. I'm gonna put my old E 1701 right next to it

Pictures are still in the camera. I had to go out for a while. I will start a review thread in a little while.
