I don't like this. At least Cloverfield's viral marketing made a little sense (except the Slusho website, I still don't understand what that had to do with Cloverfield other then it's relation to Abrams). This doesn't in the least. If TrekMovie hadn't shown that shot of the completed Narada, I would never guess this had anything to do with Star Trek. But that's just me, lol.

i don't think it has something to do directly with Star Trek. I think it is just a little game thing. Maybe leading to early screenings?

But when would you set the time period for a series called STARFLEET? Pre-Kirk, post-Archer? And if so, what ship do you use? Yorktown? Lexington? Constellation? or do you go for the OVA names? NX-01 Enterprise, NX-02 Columbia... do they use Challenger? Atlantis? Endeavour?

Ideally... if money were no object. The Starfleet series would feature a variety of ships and crews intertwined around a Starbase in Earth orbit. The stories could vary from week to week aboard different ships or joint missions with two or more ships.

The setting would be between Archer and Pike's missions.
