I'm glad that Uhura is getting some better lines besides "Hailing Frequencies Open", they do seem to be opening up her character a bit more.

on that note, I'm a bit disappointed that she hasn't been in pictures that much... it's good to see another picture of her released.

i hope she has more movie time than she does picture time

Agreed. My wife a non trekkie was impressed with this new Uhura. You no, even Nichelle Nichols did a great job when given the opportunity. I loved her part in Star Trek 3, she did a great job.

I really, really like the shuttle shot. A very nice succesor to the TOS version.
