could be, spock did say they were at warp so maybe the only way to beam to a ship at warp is to beam into an engineering tube...

Anybody enjoyed the turbolift stopping sound? It actually made it sound like a fast lift.

What do you think, were the lens flares there from the beginning or were they added later? They are distracting and hide things...

I rather like them. They look "different" and IMO add to the quality of the scenes. I doubt JJ uses them to hide important things, though.
