I have to agree.

I feel like VOY totally emasculated the Borg and turned them into another run of the mill alien.

I knew it was over for the Borg when Janeway, Tuvok and Torres were all "partially assimiliated" and on the Borg cube.

No more Borg...please. Not until 25 or so years from now when someone tries a TNG reboot.

Keep in mind, outside of what happened in ST:FC and in "Regeneration," there has been no other contact with the Borg yet in the new timeline. The message sent in "Regeneration" won't have even reached the Delta Quadrant yet. So in the meantime, the Borg should be staying far, far away from the Federation.

First Contact transformed the Borg from a force of nature to Zombies Obsessed with Green and useless Queen. They were so much more in Next Generation. They were immaculant bio machines, efficient...not husk or rotting corpses.

Voyager follwed FC commited us to it.

The Borg were quite popular in their time, but I agree, let them rest a bit. Besides there are no Borg in th 23rd century. Nor Q either. Leave them in the 24th century where they belong!!!!

I guess that the Borg ship crashing on Earth in the Antarctic, and its subsequent liftoff with the first assimilated humans as seen on Enterprise doesn't count?

Since now they do exist, having changed time, why not?
