I was thinking about the most important phrases i've seen on tv and movies. The first is "To boldy go where no man has gone before." The next one is, " One man can make a difference" . I was and still thinking that these are the most powerfull phrases that I ever heard. What do you guys think? Sorry i'm s fanboy of KR but Mostly ST and thought I would bring this up. I think they are powerful and almost bring a "tear to me eye". Hats off and more to Gene and Glen snd the Lady.

This one got me with the release of the recent trailer. It was spoken almost as an order and gave one a glimpse of things ahead:
"Enlist in Starfleet."

I've always liked, "Once more into the breach, dear friends."

I like the other speech with "gentlemen in England now abed shall think themselves acursed they were not here" (this sounds interesting when taken out of context) better.
But not even the Bard can beat Worf's one liners: Good tea, nice house. I am not a merry man. |

I always liked: "Kill 'em all. Let God sort 'em out."

This thread brings to mind one of the most simple, and yet profound phrases ever uttered, and one of the most important questions ever asked, by a character in Star Trek. This question set a lot of people to thinking, laboratories began working overtime, think-tanks began puzzling, the corridors of scientific academia everywhere
never darkened in order that an answer might be found. And now, finally, after many years of intense study, after hour after heartbreaking hour of research and practical experimentation, we can finally put an end to this enigmatic query that has stymied us all since the question was first asked on that famed epsiode of Star Trek, so many years ago. And here is that long awaited answer: brain /breɪn/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [breyn] Show IPA –noun 1.Anatomy, Zoology. the part of the central nervous system enclosed in the cranium of humans and other vertebrates, consisting of a soft, convoluted mass of gray and white matter and serving to control and coordinate the mental and physical actions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just hope that the Morg and Imorg of Sigma Draconis 7, are finally resting peacefully tonight. Now that their long standing question has been answered at last. Sweet dreams, now you'll have to excuse me for a moment, I'm getting a bit choked up.
