I don't think it necessarily means that we don't see Nero until the very end of the movie. Movie scenes are often filmed out of sequence and then put into chronological order in the editing and post-production stage. Bana could have very well meant that he just has to come at the end of the filming and not work as long as the others have who are featured in more scenes.

One thing you have to understand is, if he is FILMING his part at the end of the movie, it doesn't necessaraly mean that his PART will be at the end of the movie, the way I understand it, movies are not filmed in the sequence of first to last, If I read him right, he was saying that he gets to go in and film his cameo last, who knows where is will appear in the movie

I think he has more than a "Cameo". Coming in at the End is more likely referring to the shooting schedule than within the film itself.

These things are often filmed out of sequence, ususally so that sets can be built, filmed on, then taken down to make room for another set.

Also, location filming, there may be several scenes throughout the movie set in a certain place, so you go to that place, film everything that takes place there, then move on.

Of course, everyone here probably knows this, so I'll shut up now ;-)
