Since there seems to be a general consensus among "Trekkers" that Spock will pursue the new movies arch villian, Nero back in time to undo whatever damage it is that he intends to do (kill Kirk). The big question is - how will this time travel take place? A warp ship via slingshot around the sun or...could it be that Mr. Abrams & company plan to bring back an icon from TOS? What if Nero discovers the "Guardian of Forever"?

Can we just disagree that it will be the plot? I'm sorry, but I do not believe the plot of Star Trek 10 is "Terminator".

I think the Guardian of Forever rumor was quashed a few months back.

Guardian rumor was debunked ages ago. I certainly hope Spock uses something tried and true, and not some new gizmo. He was great at those time travel computations for the slingshot effect.
I suppose he could follow Nero, and get into his "temporal wake." Yuck.
