Here's a time paradox for you...
Since Data's head wound up in that San Francisco cave in the 1800s in TNG's "Time's Arrow," that's centuries before the timeline divergence that occurs in STXI...and therefore is in the past of the "real" timeline that the new timeline splits off from around 2233... But with the future of the new timeline being completely uncertain since it hasn't happened yet, what happens to Data's head? Does it somehow cease to exist since Data does not exist yet in the new timeline, does it somehow guarantee that he will exist, or does it just become some curious artifact that can't be explained in the 2300s when/if it's found? ![]()

I would say the same. It's tough to tell, as Star Trek never adheres to one theory of time travel...

It wasn't found until the TNG era anyway. Presumably it wouldn't affect the new timeline until then, when there will probably be picard and co (and one of the Enterprise-D's that appeared in parrallels)

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is hunting squirrels, does it make a difference to the one handed man?

There is no guarantee the Abramsverse will follow enough of the same path.

Nemesis takes place after the events of "Time's Arrow" in the "real" timeline...that head was lost with the rest of him when the Scimitar was destroyed.
