We don't know that it's his first 'target'...it may just be a coincidence that the Kelvin is the ship that is in the area when the Narada attacks.

I agree with everything you said. I think you misunderstood me, because I believe that the Narada is the ship that attacks the Kelvin as well (in fact, I'm pretty sure this is an established fact!).

You and I have the same conversation going on in a different thread as well....but I think we have the same basic theories as to what is going on!
