Default Should Captain Pike die (or be impaled) in this film???

I mean really. Shouldn't he be like the John Wayne of starship captains of this film? When I see the face of Nero saying "James T.Kirk was a great man, but that was another life",,, I cant help but having the feeling after he says that he is telling Pike after Pike shuttles over and questions him of his actions for what he is doing against Vulcan, Nero explains to him about young Kirks importance in the universe and then impales him with his triple bladed lance. Could it be a possibility??? It could explain Uhura hugging Spock after his demise and Nero telling of his death on the viewscreen as we have seen that picture recently over at trekmovie with Kirk and Spock standing there on the bridge looking at Nero. Makes sense.

I have no idea how to or the time. I am just a disgruntled former Paramount employee. Get my drift????

I think the reference to Kirk is one made in passing. Kirk is not the central focus of Nero's plans.

So you think!! He will be a hinderence. Actually think????. Pike is the central core as well as the main element . Nero knows another timeperiod exists. Pike lives in one alternate ( wheelchair) Kirk succeeds him and becomes a great man. Now if Pike dies in another alternate universe as Nero hopes, Kirk never succeeds Pike and Romulus survives.

Should he die? If it serves the film better then I don't care. Pike seems fated no matter what so.....let's see what they do.

But that isn't a spoiler.
It's a question and speculation, really.

His name is Pike.
It's already implied his head will be on one.
