We will see them in this film, they were in one of the trailers. Maybe the first one? They were holding Nero prisoner. They have ridges, maybe a little toned down from late DS9 Worf type klingons. The two seemed to have the same type of ridges too, so maybe they will all look the same. Which actually kind of makes more sense anyway.

i'm pretty sure they were wearing masks in the trailer, so they probably have no ridges like TOS.

Yeah, that was off-the-hook badness right there. But you have got to respect them for trying to film a fight between a slow but immensely stong lizard and a quick and clever hominid. With the budget they had, I can't fault that scene at all.

My main problem was when the Gorn showed that he was strong enough to lift a big boulder. With that kind of strength, he should have been able to simply crush Kirk's torso when they were grappling.

That and the whole slooooooooow punches and dodging, and the bazooka
