i sincerely hope we don't have kirk ask spock to get him a whopper just because burger king is a sponser.it worked well in iron man,but this here is STAR TREK!!

Well on trekmovie there appears one advertising after the other, now a TV ad from Esurance. But all of them concentrate on the USA.
In Germany I haven't seen anything on TV since the first Trailer came out. I thought they want to reach more perople than just the fans. But except of the fans and the few people who watched Watchman and didn't ignore the movie trailers, nobody even knows a new Star Trek movie is coming.

I find it strange that they're releasing the movie in Europe first, yet many of the countries which will be showing it have seen very little to no marketing so far...
 I'm no marketing expert but to me it just doesn't make much sense.

No marketing in the UK. I have ben to 3 movies in the last 3 weeks, and the trailer was not even being shown. Compared with other films even the posters etc in the cinema were not eye catching!

Well I have been checking ncc.1701.com every day for over a year now since the first trailer was released and there has been no change .. I have to believe they had started some sort of viral ARG or something but when the release date was pushed forward, everything changed and its just been sitting there all these months now. Sure would like to know where it was going to go next..
