OPINION: Will the Enterprise get a refit in the movie timeline?
So just out of curiosity, how many of y'all think the "new" Enterprise will get a refit in this timeline? Or is it already so advanced that it won't get a "refit", just upgrades?

Personally, I think the ship will already be different when we see it. I think it will be much more updated than it should be because of Neros entrance.

Unless this movie is a spectacular failure, this will be the new look for Enterprise in future movie projects. They may tweek something here and there, but they have re-booted the franchise for better or for worse.

Refit no, Overhaul maybe
I don't know about needing a refit but if, and i stress IF, the art in this poster(pic below) is correct she's going to need a major overhaul. And who knows because like McCoy says engineers,or computer graphics artists in this case, "love to change things" so maybe they'd use that as an excuse to tweak her as Captain Tom Coughlin said.

The Enterprise will not get a refit. The design will remain the same for the next two movies if they eventuate.
