Says so on Trek movie, and i kinda believe them. Nothing else makes sense with Scotty swimming in the pipes

Lower decks. This is when Kirk and Scotty do a "transwarp beam in" from Delta Vega. Scotty materializes in the water pipe.

Lets hope these are fakes or Star Trek is doomed. Maybe these are on the ice planet?

Because it looks like a boiler room rather than a engine room. Water pipes so big? Why? There is no logical reason!

Seriously. No one is going to believe that they have steam pipes and manual wheeled shutoff valves on a Starship in the 23rd century. It's even more retro than the original TOS. It's like slapping a futuristic body on an 1860's steam train.

It could be extreme lower decks in the secondary hull.

To be honest, I always kind of wondered why everything in engineering was tucked away behind panels you had to move about to get access to. It made everything look clean, but that was about it.
