Excellent choice Monsieur- it's my favorite Bond movie song.

My own fav? So many I love to hear depending on my mood at the time. If I had to pick just one- this is dorky but: "Turn it On Again" by Genesis but SPECIFICALLY the version they played at The Nassau Coloseum in 1982 on the ABACAB/Three Sides Live tour. That was just the best version- tempo, balance of the instruments, energy, and of course, the prominence of Tony Bank's Yamaha CP Electric Grand piano.

I told you I was a dork.

I would have to say, my favorite all-time song is when Fleetwood Mac redid "Silver Springs" for "The Dance".

Before that, it was "With or Without You" by U2.

Well, that's just the best version of 'Silver Springs' that they ever did!

I agree.

My favorite song is "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd.

Actually, I find this one very easy. The one song that alway makes me stop and listen to it... like a cat frozen when you rub it in just the right place.... I strongly suggest you pop over to Youtube, and watch the video...

Kate Bush- "The Man With the Child in His Eyes"

It's on her album "The Whole Story" which also happens to be one of my favorite albums of all time.

Katie is a genius. She's produced by the same people who do Pink Floyd. She never tours the US, and it's my hope to get over to the UK and see her perform before either she, or I, die.

Save me from this prison, Lord, help me to get away
Cause only You can save me now, from this misery
Now I've been lost in my own place,
And I'm getting weary, how far is heaven
And I know I need to change
My ways of livin', How far is heaven
Lord, can You tell me

I've been locked up way to long
In this crazy world, how far is heaven
I'll just keep on prayin' Lord
Just keep on livin', how far is heaven
Yeah Lord, can You tell me, how far is heaven
Cause I just got to know, how far is heaven
I just got to know, how far

Cause I know that there's a better place
Than this place I'm livin, how far is heaven
And I just got to have some faith
And just keep on living, how far is heaven
Lord can you tell me, how far is heaven
Cause I just gotta know, how far is heaven
Yeah Lord, can You tell me, how far is heaven
I just gotta know how far, yeah I just gotta know how far

How far is heaven

I'd have to say that another favorite is Heroin by Velvet Underground.
Loved it ever since I heard it during the Oliver Stone movie about Jim Morrison (which I haven't seen in FOREVER)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xcwt9mSbYE

I don't know just where I'm going
But I'm gonna try for the kingdom, if I can
'Cause it makes me feel like I'm a man
When I put a spike into my vein
And I'll tell ya, things aren't quite the same
When I'm rushing on my run
And I feel just like Jesus' son
And I guess that I just don't know
And I guess that I just don't know

I have made the big decision
I'm gonna try to nullify my life
'Cause when the blood begins to flow
When it shoots up the dropper's neck
When I'm closing in on death
And you can't help me not, you guys
And all you sweet girls with all your sweet talk
You can all go take a walk
And I guess that I just don't know
And I guess that I just don't know

I wish that I was born a thousand years ago
I wish that I'd sail the darkened seas
On a great big clipper ship
Going from this land here to that
In a sailor's suit and cap
Away from the big city
Where a man can not be free
Of all of the evils of this town
And of himself, and those around
Oh, and I guess that I just don't know
Oh, and I guess that I just don't know

Heroin, be the death of me
Heroin, it's my wife and it's my life
Because a mainer to my vein
Leads to a center in my head
And then I'm better off than dead
Because when the smack begins to flow
I really don't care anymore
About all the Jim-Jim's in this town
And all the politicians makin' busy sounds
And everybody puttin' everybody else down
And all the dead bodies piled up in mounds

'Cause when the smack begins to flow
Then I really don't care anymore
Ah, when the heroin is in my blood
And that blood is in my head
Then thank God that I'm as good as dead
Then thank your God that I'm not aware
And thank God that I just don't care
And I guess I just don't know
And I guess I just don't know
