Yep. That's exactly the same TV commercial I saw about 5 times last night while watching Spongebob with the kids. I have no idea who the guy in the water tube is. Probably Scotty. I have no clue. I wonder if this is the same spot that will be shown with "Monsters Vs. Aliens"?

I just saw the apparently "kid-friendly" new TV spot for Star Trek XI while watching Spongebob on Nick about ten minutes ago. It was mostly stuff we've already seen but with a couple of new scenes. One had Uhura looking at Kirk in the captain's chair and telling him "I sure hope you know what you're doing". To which Kirk replied: "So do I". And I also hope that's not Engineering. But I did read a couple of reviews of the 4 scenes that were screened to critics and journalists. And they said that the ship gets more "industrial looking" the further down you go. So I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Yeah. I hope it's not the actual engineering control room, but just her innards--the belly of the beast, as it were.
