The MySpace posting says it's the "Star Trek Final Theatrical One-Sheet Revealed Here First!"

It also says

Quote:
"Hot off the press at warp speed we’re bringing you the final theatrical one-sheet before anyone else!

J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek explores the origins of James T. Kirk, Spock and the crew of the USS Enterprise from the original "Star Trek" series and how these iconic characters came together.

John Cho, Ben Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Winona Ryder, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Eric Bana, Leonard Nimoy, Marlene Forte, Jimmy Bennett are starring.

The future begins 5/8/09!"
I don't believe it's a teaser.

Nor do I, unfortunately. I like the European versions of the posters better and I wasn't thrilled with those.

Agreed! As usual, ntbone's work is top shelf stuff.

I wish that were the poster...

I know it's not a teaser, but it LOOKS like one.

I've been reading around at what people have to say and I guess I'm the only person out there that likes it. Wow. It's sweet, it's abstract and it's simple and leaves lots to the imagination. It's Star Trek's 'White Album' cover, what can I say, I like it. It's a statement not an advertisement, which might be bad business but regardless, I'll be there opening night.

On a side note, ntbone, that is pretty sweet looking poster you made yourself!

Opinions are irrelevant. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

We are Borg.

We are not in this movie.

We hope.

Got to agree with Kevin here. That poster is a major dissapointment.

When i think back to TMP poster and then look at this it falls way down the list of good cinematic posters. I also agree it looks more like a teaser poster rather than the real thing. The UK and Euro ones are much better in my opinion.

fans ones are briklliant

cheers

Greg

Even thought I like it, I have to agree that it would serve better as a teaser poster.
