I have always considered the hull of a ship as a rough outline and what you do inside of it is up to you. Although this would make refits for the Galaxy custom depending on which one it was it is completely doable.

As far as Xavier and Picard, haven't we seen two Picards enough.

MSD = Master Situation Display
Can also be Master Systems Display

I did this in Adobe Illustrator using many side profiles drawings and the Enterprise D blue prints as a guide.

The original MSD on TNG had several in-jokes on it. A duck, Nomad, a Porsche and a DC-3. There are others too.

I deciced to include the duck, but incorporated my own jokes into the MSD.
