I think all of the Klingon fleet is going to be destroyed. Who escapes and lives is another matter, but, maybe Worf would like to go out this way, after all Klingons never surrender. I think its good bye Worf.

Orci and Kurtzman won't kill off such a popular character. I would however love to see Worf chew that s.o.b.'s ear off!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why wouldn't they kill off Worf? He's not going to be in any more films unless he's playing his ancestor?

I've always found that whole thing rather silly. Okay, there was only one working prototype at the time of "the undiscovered country". When that prototype was destroyed the Klingons never pursued building another?

If the Romulans stole the tech from the Klingons, why wait 80 years (or more) to put one in a ship of your own? Actually, the Scimitar was built in secret by the Remans. So I find it more reasonable to think the Romulans were developing their own fire-thru cloak when the Scimitar was built. Now that the "cat is out of the bag" any future book, series, or movie set post Nemesis could have a ship with a fire-thru cloak. Anything less would seem dumb.

I usually find all sorts of "in universe" ways to explain away inconsistencies, but this idea that the Romulans stole the technology from the Klingons I find a bit silly. Even if I thought it were plausible (even for Trek), then why would Worf say such a thing AFTER battling the Scimitar? Does he have memory problems?

You are assuming there will NEVER be another Trek series or movie set in the post Nemesis timeframe. I've learned to never say "never".

I think, even if they did, which I doubt, they would have an entirely new cast and set many years later. My gut tells me that Paramount or whoever controls the TV aspect won't move in that direction with any new series.

You are probably correct, but eliminating the possibility of tie-ins or cameo appearances is NOT a good idea. I think in order for Trek to really be successful, it needs to "feed the fans" from time to time.
