Post Playmates releases star trek prototypes

If anyone pays attention to trekmovie.com they might know that playmates has shown LOTS of potential Trek toys in Germany. These include:

50 action figures! (uniforms are close to 1960's)
a model of the big E (looks more "organic" w/ big nacelles)
an alien ship (looks like an octopus)
a transporter room playset w/ red floor

Is anyone else really excited that playmates is going in big with Star Trek again?

I keep wondering why there are no pictures anywhere...
The alien cephalopod could be a vulcan ship!

YEA NO SH!T!

I will just keep reading "News to Use" at my job to see if we'll be selling
them so that I can sneak into the backroom and buy the best ones before
the rest of you.

I would've rather seen AA get the Trek toy line vs Playmates. Their stuff wasn't all the good imo..

I heard from someone that your Royal Mail was horrible, or something?
I cannot risk sending you my toys.

I wonder if this one could be Romulan. After all, some of the Romulan ships are quite organic-looking, especially the drone ship from Enterprise.
