Default Maybe J.J. will go the Dark Knight route?!

Perhaps J.J. or whoever might direct the next move, assuming there is one of course, will do like Christopher Nolan and just give it it's own title. This might also help to pul in new fans such as they attempted to do with the last show by keeping Star Trek out of the title...until it all went downhill anyway. Some examples might be Space Seed or The Seed like dv8pdx's poster, The City on the Edge of Forever and so on.

Interesting choice. Why may I ask?

It's not impossible...

Even in the new timeline, the Botany Bay is still drifting out there somewhere...the Doomsday Machine is heading toward the Milky Way...V'Ger is out on the other side of the galaxy...

The events may not happen the exact same way, but what happened before could conceivably happen in this case...

Oh, wait...

Very true...

Sorry,

Been lurking for awhile. An idea would be a remake of the TOS Episode, "Errand of Mercy" were there is a "war" with the Klingons. Have Kor as a main baddy, but expand on the rest of the "war"...

This may work, because with the timeline changed, The Klingon Empire will see that the Federation is a bit weaker...and would be a good time to attack...? Just some thoughts. Just don't bring in the Duras Family, lol.

You could even have Kang and Kolov...

In a new timeline, anything is possible... it would be an easy make, Enterprise finds Khan and the Botany Bay, Khan tries to take Enterprise, Kirk bannishs him, Seti Alpha 6 explosed, and since the time line is changed, Kirk doesn't have nooky and there is no David, so no Genisis project, thus the Reliant is instead sent to investigates the explosion of Seti Alpa 6 and finds survivors on Seti Alpha 5, the shock wave kills Khan's wife and thus the revenge begins... all in one flick. Same concept, different results getting there. It could happen... lol
