Default Wrong!

Sounds like something Berman would say and I couldn't disagree more.

This movie WILL be judged - ALL movies are judged.
People are nitpicky and critical because they've been burned on the last two films (who can blame them)

JJ knew this going in - they know the risks and the challenge ahead of them.
It WILL be scrutinized - there's no where to run so they better make a good movie.

One thing for sure that will happen is that some will enjoy this film and others will hate it.

Yes, I agree, but I think the point of the original post is don't judge the movie so quickly especially when you only know jack-squat about it.

And that's too bad, because we only know so little about it.

lol, how can you hate something that has not been released, or judge it yet?

We no nothing about the film really, other than rumors and who has been cast.

Fan or Not, this movie will be judged like any other - regardless of your gender, weight, place of work, age, race, colour and fanatical or not so fanatical obsession with Star Trek. we're bums on seats as far as Paramount are concerned so it really doesn't matter if some fans on these message boards dislike this movie - there are millions upon millions of fans out there and its just the fanatical few who visit boards and talk in depth about Star Trek - most ppl just like it.

Post That's What I've Been Planning.

I can't wait, only about 10 months and fourteen days! (all values are approximate) I don't care about the odd-even thing at all. I know this is odd. So?

Everyone that says "How can you judge it when we don't know much about it" forget the flip side is true...

How can you be so enthusiastic about it when we don't know much about it?
