Seeing the BSG finale and seeing Star Trek are the two things I'm most excited about in film/TV this year!

It's been a consistently strong show throughout it's run. One of the best written shows on TV.

Just watched the final part of the finale. Brilliant! Such an amazing show from beginning to end. Can't wait for Caprica

I was enthralled with the finale, easily the best written and acted of the entire series. Ron Moore was so very wise to pull the entire finale out of characters, not plot machinations.
Time after time, great ideas and moments hit me -- Tyrol's revenge dooming the hybrids to mortality, Adama's last flight with Laura, Anders' last mission to obliterate the entire fleet. Many times I teared up or found my hand covering my mouth in astonishment. When Kara punched in the 'notes' of the rendevous coordinates and the ship skimmed past the cratered moon to reveal Earth hanging there in space -- what an unforgettable storytelling and emotional climax to this long journey! My thanks and congratulations to all involved who put this great show on television!

That was a great ending to the series. Man... Their are very few shows that were as good at BSG, and gave its fans such a great ending.
I just hope that "The Plan" does not screw all that up. |

Apparently after "The Plan" is aired, we'll have to watch the whole series over again. Sounds like a good thing. As for "Caprica", I'm a-skeered-ed |

But Caprica isn't trying to be the same thing as BSG. It's obviously going to have to have a few nods to the inevitable future, but I don't think the intention is for the same type of storytelling.
