Yes, it was brought up when the previous trailer first appeared -- but that was before your arrival here. If you search for applicable terms on the forum, I believe you'll find a few other topics which discuss aspects of this shot and its story potential. Enjoy!

if you look at the new trailer, there's a shot of her with sunlight & she's not as green as she seems in the dark

The view of her in the new trailer ismuch clearer then what we've seen in the others......can't wait to see more! (or less....and now my wife just called me a pig)

Well, I did search, "green"...couldn't be that hard of a word to find. but hellz ballz, we can end this thread....I just never caught it before, watching the trailers until today. Just one more tipping of the hat to TOS.

Ah, a search for "orion" would probably have yielded better results. Then again, it took months before the search function on the board even operated correctly, so I can understand if results aren't always helpful.

I sort of felt like the Orion is "pinked up" a bit in the new trailer. I might be wrong. It just felt a little bit like the first NBC promo shots of Star Trek where they airbrushed Spock's ears and eyebrows...."we can't have it look too alien!"

So instead of the neon-green we saw in TOS & ENT, it may be a bit more "tame"? That would be sad...I've always loved a woman in neon green (now my wife just hit me AND called me a pig...lol!)

Hopefully it's just the illumination in the scenes we've seen!

Do we know for sure that Kirk is in bed with an Orion at all, or are we just speculating?
