His presence in the film is a great indicator for me that this is not the flim-flam con trick some folks would have us believe.

But when it comes to the visual aspects of the film - if he didn't like the bridge or the ship either, it wouldn't worry me of change my mind, despite his intimate and long knowledge of the series.

I couldn't agree more.

The fact that Nimoy signed on as enthusiastically as he did speaks volumes. If the project sucked (like "Generations), Nimoy wouldn't have done it.
