Nope, that's not part of the allure. It's damned annoying to hear people going "That's not how ____ is supposed to be! They're supposed to be another ___ degrees to the right!" and etc. I may just watch it in my living room.

I'll try to get tickets for the preview on the 6th... and I'll bring a notepad to write down all the exciting fan hints

I haven't decided what I want to do. I often wait a week or two to see the blockbuster movies and try to go on an off day matinee show so as not to have to deal with a crowded theater, but I may bite the bullet for this one.

Ive seen all six movies (1-6) at the pictures which was awesome. some i went to see several times. One of the biggest highlights was being at the UK premiere for STAR TREK 4 THE VOYAGE HOME. wow that was tremendous. I never bothered with the following films. Ive seen each of those films on the opening day and this wont be any different.

I did see Generations at the movies too but that best forgotten about.

Im going to see JJ's film with my family in my home town in Wales, UK with several family members who are also trek (TOS) fans. however i now live in wiltshire, England and will see it again with friends, work colleagues etc.

whats great about this, is that about 10 people are going who have never seen a trek film before but are just caught up in the hype (mainly created by me over the last two years!!). They are dead keen as they have been very impressed with what ive told them and with the trailers ive showed them.

Im extrememly excited.
