If the issue isn't what is physically possible but merely what looks good on the big screen, I think it's more likely JJA will have opted for a blast off for the E under its own power. Tug boats and tractor beams would make the ship look (personal opinion) passive and dependent, but getting up to space under its own power would look exciting, flash and powerful.
If you are too open minded your brains will fall out.

I don't think we're going to see the Enterprise launched from the ground, or see it pulled up from the surface at any point.

Beyond seeing her built, I suspect we'll see her already in orbit, awaiting her crew on shuttles.

How she's moved from the ground to orbit will likely not be portrayed on screen.

It would cost a lot of money better spent on items that move the story forward.

In addition, it might slow thongs down too much.

I know many do not like seeing the Enterprise built on the ground, in Iowa Shipyards, but the payoff is the dramatic payoff of Kirk seeing his destiny being built.

It makes for a great shot, and what looks to be a great moment.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

Personally I think its great that its built on Earth, gives it a more human hands on touch which is what JJ tried to portray in the first teaser trailer with the welder. In space you just dont get the feel of handcrafting, plus you wouldnt be able to have Kirk riding over the plains to see its construction!
