Well, it *could* be a crash...and, then again, it might not.

Still.. if it goes the way it is going in my mind.... it will be a blaze of glory, say the Big E is disabled-weapon wise, Needs of the many speech, he takes the ship and boooooooom!

But that kind of reminds me of Nemesis...

Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels . . . his was the mmmost . . . human.

. . . tear . . . sniffle . . .

Who knows, maybe when Spock repairs the timeline and sacrifices himself (if that is what he is doing in this scene), maybe he and the rest of the universe will go on living in the correct timeline. I guess we won't know until May 8th. Unless of course, they continue exploring this timeline, like some have hinted. It's fiction . . like playdough in the hands of those molding it.

Yep. I too got that impression when I saw Spock's time ship ramming the Narada. I still would like to know if it is a "conventional" time ship (like the borg one from FC) or Spock just did the ever famous "sling-shot-around-the-sun" thing...

It's just a theory, but I'm gonna bet Orci and the script stay away from such a "carbon" of ST II. I bet it's much more mundane of an event then we may think.

My theory is it's a conventional Timeship. The Narada though, is powered by a subspace engine and protected by a time dilation energy field. It can draw as much power as it needs from subspace.

Clever editing can make it seem like anything is happening. Kinda like when they showed Uhura take off her shirt and then Kirk in bed with a difficult to see chick. These scenes are meant to ignite debate. They are not a mistake.

I mean what if when Kirks says "Yeah there is" ....what if hes just replying to someone on the bridge saying. There is no way to stop this Nero....."Yah there is". It is all smoke and mirrors folks till we see it in the order its meant to be seen in.
