I would really like a DS9 movie or miniseries, but only if they get Ira Behr and Ron Moore to write it

i think the best we can hope for is the inclusion of some of the characters in a future movie or a tv miniseries...

For the true fans a DS9 movie would
rock. . .I'm just not sure the general,
not trek, public would accept it as well.

Bring Sisko back and lots of action - can't
go wrong with that combination.

If we're talking stuck on a station waiting for something to come our way...then no I don't want to see more of that...not to mention that gross station.

I think a movie only could destroy the DS9 feeling and make it wrong.
The DS9 story arc ended and was too complex for a movie, in a movie they surely would make the character relationships, the many details in the background, the whole atmosphere wrong.
So unfortunatelly no.

I used to call DS9 Star Static or Star Stale because it never went any where. When they got blasted off that cardassian monstrasity I couldn't have been happier.

But the whole point is that when people have to stay put, they are forced to get along with each other no matter how much they might dislike each other personally.

DS9 wasn't about the aliens and planets. It was / is about the people who have to come together and stick together - many of whom have very different agendas.
