I WOULD LOVE IT.

DS9 is potentially my favourite series of all.
A special place is reserved in my heart for all of them, of course - even Enterprise probably... but something about DS9 and how it fitted it's time and how it was that little bit darker and it wasn't on a ship.

I really cannot EVER see a movie being made but I would happily eat my own trousers if I thought that would make it happen.

I would love to see a continuation of the ds9 story, I cant really see it happening though, I think 24th century trek is over as far as Paramount is concerned

It would just seem like a long, uncalled for episode. I think the DS9 finale ended things rather abruptly, but it was well done. Making a movie would necessitate a lot of flimsy explanations to facilitate including characters like Sisco, O'Brien, and Worf (who all left the station). I doubt the actors would be up for it either.

I wouldn't say no to a ferengi family special though :-P

Yeah I know, I personally think that the Star Trek Universe should move forward, not go back and add stuff that doesen't make sense....

I really would love it if they would put together a miniseries that encompasses all of DS9, TNG, and Voyager. But you are probably right about the 24th century being a done thing...

I don't see any further movies in that era either, but if they do, they should try to use characters from all of the series in that timeframe...not just TNG.

YES! They should start writing the script now!

A DS9 movie would be great. I always wanted to see how Sisko would end up coming back, and from what I know of the book series, bringing some of the intervening years activities would be very interesting.

Just like with voyager, a DS9 movie after the series ended would have been great, even if it was simply a made for tv movie. If it were made now I would watch it, but I think its been too long since it ended for anyone but the hardcore fans to appreciate a DS9 movie, as the events of the series arent so fresh in their memory.

If they did it well, with as much care as they paid to the episodes -- possibly more -- it could work. If not, don't.
