Default Who is Nero shaping up to be like?

From what we've gathered, from trailers, the Countdown comic, and the synopsis of the novel, what past Trek villain do you expect Nero to resemble most? For some reason I keep thinking Chang from The Undiscovered Country.

What do you think?
Also, keep this thread alive, I want to see how opinions change or stay the same after the trailer attached to Watchmen. (Which I am going to see tonight! MIDNIGHT SCREENINGS FTW!)

Personally, I think Nero will be the least inspiring villain in any Trek series or movie.

That's a rather negative view. Any particular reason for this? So far, I don't know enough about Nero to compare him to anyone...though that may change in the coming months

In this case simply a gut feeling and it's usually right.

It depends on his motivation, his goal and how that is expressed in the film.

But he can't possibly be worse than R'uafo in the weak villain stakes. That one is just too far ahead of the lousy villain pack.

I'm positive he'll be better than the last villain, ugh I hated that kid.

I may draw flak from saying this, but I really think that Nero will be more akin to Khan. (I do remember reading somewhere that Nero is Spock's Khan.) Nero blames the Federation and Spock for the death of his wife. (Khan blamed Kirk for the death of his wife.) What better way to hurt the Federation than to destroy their greatest achievement??? (Kirk is Spock's best friend. What is the best way to hurt a Half human half Vulcan???)

I can respect that....but when you see the trailer you may be thinking differently. I have seen it and that's all I can say. I dont want to ruin it for anyone.

Nero is one scary B.A.M.F.

I still don't see anything to indicate anything outstanding in Nero's portrayal as a villian.

But the trailer is KA!
