Picard also wore a black/grey uniform....

Sorry its the Picard song, go to around 3:20 and you can see Picard fighting an aliean in a grey outfit. Anybody know the episode? Just thought it might give some insite into Kirks wearage- it could simply be a "casual" uniform that he (kirk) hasnt had a chance to change out of it- a boring solution to a much debated subject. Of-course this depense on picards grey uniform being a casual wear.

This is the shirt under the Captain's jacket, the first idea of the grey element present later in the DS9 uniforms.

ah ok, strange he lost his jacket but still has a com badge.
I thought it may have been an undershirt or something. But off topic it truly is amazing how many different uniforms TNG has. even in the collar version, I'm sure Ive seen pipping and no red pipping on Picards uniform. Then theres the red and black reverse. Anybody got a link to the entire styles of uniforms as seen in TNG? found it all. Last edited by ash_scotland88 : 03-04-2009 at 01:18 PM.

I think that shot is from "Darmok" and he took off his jacket, well probably because it was hot on this planet.

Definitely Darmok. I know this because it is one of my favourite TNG stories, partly because of the uniform Picard was wearing... Geek alert...
I really like that uniform!
